About the role :

As a Structural Analyst Engineer you will be a member of the Component Structural Analysis group managing advanced technical evaluations and analyses carried out on major nuclear safety class components and piping and providing many services within structural mechanics (design activities, factory / workshop follow-up, and support to nuclear power plant modifications or refueling outage) in many projects, including primary pressure boundary of Westinghouse designed nuclear power plants including current operating fleet (AP1000 and AP300), long-term operation support, seismic qualification, major component replacement, and plant modifications.

You will report to the Manager, Component Structural Analysis, and be located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). This is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services within the structural mechanic's field
• Perform hand calculations and finite element analysis calculations in ANSYS to verify the qualification of nuclear power plant components to the appropriate standards
• Perform and document analyses in English
