YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Global Legal Team, you will coordinate and provide legal support in Spain and other countries where Systra Ibérica operates, focusing on :
- Providing legal advice and analysis on contractual issues for project procurement.
- Drafting and advising on contracts and agreements related to SYSTRA Ibérica’s global projects.
- Acting as a key contact for negotiations and contract performance with internal and external parties.
- Interacting with clients, partners, subcontractors, and senior management on a daily basis.
- Understanding active projects and tenders in preparation.
- Offering legal advisory services, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Training management to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
- Liaising with local insurance brokers and external legal counsels.
- Drafting legal notices and managing dispute cases.
- Managing local corporate processes, governance, and compliance in coordination with Systra’s corporate team.
- Participating in the Systra Group legal network.
Educational Background
Admitted as a solicitor in Spain is advantageous.Law Degree (LLM or PhD).Language Skills
Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken).Fluent in English (written and spoken).French and Portuguese are a plus but not mandatory.Experience
Strong knowledge of Spanish public procurement, engineering, and construction contracts.Proven experience in negotiating and drafting contracts and transaction documents.Experience in an international environment.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.In-house experience preferred, ideally after law firm work.Background in construction, transport, engineering, oil and gas, energy, or water sectors.J-18808-Ljbffr
