Data Engineer Azure

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer Azure to develop a data warehouse (DWH) from scratch using Azure components such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Vault, Azure Synapse SQL DB, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Experience with AWS RDS and Oracle DB is also required.

Responsibilities include :

• Designing and implementing data models using star schema and data model methodologies, following market best practices.
• Building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines within Azure Synapse / K8s for data integration and ETL / ELT processes.
• Implementing CI / CD pipelines to automate deployment and integration workflows in Azure and K8s.
• Applying AWS expertise, focusing on RDS, EKS containerized workloads, Landing Zone configuration, and security.
• Proficiency in understanding and optimizing data models (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) using tools like Erwin for analytical purposes.

This position is remote, located in Barcelona, and requires high proficiency in English. The role is classified as Mid-Senior level, full-time, within the Information Technology industry, specifically IT Services and Consulting.
