Job Title : Renewable Energy Market Access Specialist

This position involves overseeing the integration of renewable energy projects into various electricity markets.

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in market access, regulatory compliance, and business development within the renewable energy industry.

  • Develop strategies to ensure the successful integration of renewable energy projects into electricity markets.
  • Analyze market structures, regulatory frameworks, and pricing mechanisms to identify optimal market access options.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience navigating complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Negotiate and manage short-term contracts, derivatives, or Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
  • Secure participation on the spot market (day ahead, intraday, etc.) of pre-defined volumes of renewable assets.
  • Facilitate project registration with transmission system operators (TSOs), distribution network operators (DNOs), electricity market operators, and other relevant authorities.

    • Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or master degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Renewable Energy.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on market access, regulatory compliance, or business development.
  • Proven track record in navigating complex regulatory environments and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
