Product Manager Job Description
The Product Manager defines and implements strategies to meet market requirements for the product portfolio. Responsibilities include product management, developing marketing support programs for specific product lines, providing marketing assistance to field personnel and customers, and leveraging scientific expertise to achieve business objectives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape tactics, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare for new product launches : conduct market research, determine positioning, analyze competitors, manage publications, and develop value propositions.
- Stay updated on market needs and competitor analysis.
- Provide the commercial team with compelling arguments to counter objections from competitors and customers, based on value-selling techniques.
- Create marketing materials such as brochures, catalogs, presentations, and digital campaigns.
- Prepare essential product documentation, including registration, technical data sheets, safety files, and inserts.
- Participate in workshops, congresses, scientific sessions, and other events.
- Encourage scientific evaluation of products to generate articles.
- Assist in tender preparation, especially in writing technical sections, in collaboration with sales and tenders departments.
- Maintain up-to-date data in the computer system (SAP), Teams database, and the company's website.
- Serve as a technical liaison for marketing, providing product and regulatory information to sales, service, and customers.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding product issues, incidents, and updates.
- Work with logistics to manage product incidents, stock levels, and purchase forecasts.
- Maintain communication with technical services regarding issues with instruments, software, and reagents within the product line.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and support the sales team during customer visits.
- Deliver presentations to customers and train sales team members, including Area Managers, Key Account Managers, and Sales Application Specialists.
- Manage and lead internal projects independently.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Code of Ethics.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Life Sciences or Medicine is desirable.Knowledge in Hematology is highly valuable.Additional degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar are preferred.Experience
At least three years' experience in the IVD industry or a medical / technical role in a hospital IVD laboratory, preferably in hematology.Skills & Capabilities
Fluent in Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.Business acumen, effective teamwork, independence in managing projects, customer focus, excellent communication skills, creativity, organizational agility, relationship-building, planning, and results-driven mindset.Travel Requirements
