About The Role

The Claims Handler will support the manager in handling Italian claims across various lines of business : Marine, Property, and Liability, originating from a Japanese portfolio. The candidate will report to the Deputy Claims Manager in Belgium, with the office based in Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collect all documentation provided by brokers or clients
• Review policy wording to assess coverage
• Appoint surveyors if necessary
• Inform the manager of any developments
• Prepare settlement proposals
• Record data accurately in various systems and databases
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and business partners
