Your contribution

In this challenging and important role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Tecan’s service support department. The primary objective is to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by efficiently managing service operations, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery, and continuously improving service. This is a Shared Service Center function mainly supporting Tecan Germany in their daily tasks.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Calculation and preparation of service contracts and quotations for billable services.
  • Processing sales orders, service contracts, and service-related activities using SAP ERP system.
  • Accurate maintenance of customer and instrument master data, order backlog, service contracts, documentation, and contact information.
  • Communication with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of service tasks.
  • Handling customer complaints and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of performance metrics.
  • Organizing and managing personal workload and documentation independently.
  • Contributing to achieving group, department, and company goals.

Your background

  • Background in Commercial Administration / Business Administration
  • Experience in Customer Service, Sales / Service Back-office functions
  • Fluent in German & English, with Spanish as a business language
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Suite including Excel & Outlook, ERP system (SAP), and general technical understanding
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, high level of customer service orientation.
