ICFO is looking for a Project Financial Officer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the effective financial management of research projects. This includes overseeing their economic monitoring, ensuring their accurate financial justification in compliance with applicable regulations and ICFO's internal policies, and supporting Group Leaders in the economic management of their projects. Ensure research teams can make informed financial decisions by providing timely and accurate tracking of project budgets and expenditures.

Help Group Leaders confidently plan and manage project resources by offering expert support in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Enable successful funding audits and reviews by preparing compliant financial reports and justifications that align with funder and institutional regulations.

Facilitate seamless communication with funding agencies and auditors to resolve financial queries and ensure clarity in project reporting.

Improve the efficiency of project financial workflows by contributing to the enhancement of internal tools, templates, and best practices.

Advanced level of English (minimum C1 level) with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.

Experience in financial management for research projects.

Experience with SAP Business One.

Good knowledge of Excel, including experience with Pivot tables.

This is a full-time permanent position. The contract offered will be interim if the Oferta Pública d'Ocupació is not approved at the time of incorporation.
