Head of Global Marketing Communication

We are hiring a Head of Global Marketing Communication to take on a key leadership role in our global marketing communication team. This position has become available due to an internal move. This is a remote role with global responsibility. Travel : Around once per month within Europe.
Key objectives include driving the definition, planning, and execution of our marketing communications strategy; leading marketing communications for our global products, solutions, and services, focusing on key verticals, customer groups, and channels; generating more warm leads for the sales organization; bringing creative thinking into global campaigns; leading a network of local marketing leads by creating a strong community and providing hands-on support and strategic direction.
A job that matters : Your Tasks
- Lead and coordinate marketing communications strategy definition and planning for global products, solutions, and services towards prioritized verticals / channels / customer, in close alignment with Strategic Marketing team, Global Product Management and Regions
- Steer the MarCom roadmap execution worldwide via global and local MarCom teams, and in close coordination with Digital & Social Engagement team, in alignment with dormakaba overarching strategy
- Continuously seek at maximizing MarCom consistency, efficiency and effectiveness across global and local MarCom teams based on the continuous review and improvement of the organizational setup, relevant processes, systems & staff
- Plan and control marketing communications budgets, securing consistency with approved marketing priorities and roadmaps and systematically track impact of activities to evaluate impact and foster optimized return on marketing investment across Group
- Implement and drive customer-centricity as a universal principle applied in every initiative and rebalancing the focus on Verticals & Solutions as well as on Customer Groups & Channel activation while maintaining a leading position as a product specialist
- Ensure consistent Group branding strategy execution through all MarCom activities
- Lead and accelerate digital transformation in MarCom in close alignment with Digital Marketing Technologies and Digital & Social Engagement teams, in order to strengthen our digital presence and ultimately improve reach and quality of our end-to-end customer journey
A n experience that matters : Your Skills
University degree in communications, political science, business economics, marketing or other degree with proven equivalent experience acquired. MBA strongly preferred10+ years of professional experience in marketing & communications in an international B2B or B2C environment with increasing responsibilities (at least 5+ years of leadership experience)Proven track-record as a manager of a global teamBoth in house and agency experience a plusMaster storyteller and communicator in the digital age, as well as strategic leaderProven experience driving communications throughout all channels, notably digital and socialExperience in designing & executing 360° Communication Campaign with a strong digital footprint and a reliable track-record in delivering on major KPI’sExcellent influencing and presentation skillsFamiliarity with decentralized matrix organizations and experience in group functions & ability to work effectively with multiple internal & external stakeholdersCompetitive, team player, creativity, resilience, cultural sensitivityA start-up mentality, high sense of urgency with ability to challenge the status quo and drive new ways of managing communications internally and externallyAbility to bring people together to achieve objectives as a team and efficiently delegate part of responsibilities, change managementStrong hands-on mentality and sense of responsibility to drive impact and leave tracesStrong project management skills, including the ability to work independently and to manage team plus multiple ongoing projectsA workplace that matters : Our offering
