Job Description :

Context and environment : Airbus aims for aviation decarbonisation, pushing technological breakthroughs in electrical systems. You will join the Electrical System Team, bringing your expertise and collaboration skills.

Your Impact : Develop high voltage electrical energy storage systems.

Your role and responsibilities :

  • Specify functional and performance requirements for energy storage and power conversion solutions.
  • Ensure equipment integration with electrical distribution and propulsion systems.
  • Follow development and integration, ensuring safety, quality, and performance.
  • Evaluate various energy storage technologies for future aircraft designs.
  • Manage development reviews and coordinate with external suppliers.
  • Support suppliers in technical challenges; design and use simulation models.
  • Report progress to management.

  • Proven experience in energy storage and conversion system design and integration.
  • Experience with different cell chemistries, battery protection, thermal management, and BMS.
  • Knowledge of high voltage power electronics, modeling, testing, and V&V principles.
  • Strong communication, initiative, and integrity.
  • Languages : Negotiation level English; French is a plus.
