Chief Cloud Architectural Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on data platform architecture, data governance, and cloud infrastructure automation. This role is part of a large-scale data platform initiative for a German automotive client, supporting cross-functional teams in a global environment.

The ideal candidate will design and implement data platform solutions in Azure, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM), permissions management, and secure storage integration.

They will also manage and optimize the Azure Data Lake environment, ensuring compliance with enterprise-level security and governance standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications :

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Gen2, Databricks (mandatory), and Azure Data Factory
• Strong understanding of Azure security concepts : RBAC, ACLs, AAD, Key Vault
• Knowledge of Data Mesh principles and data governance frameworks
• Scripting / programming skills in Python
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Pulumi, Terraform)
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment practices
