Project Engineer Job Description
As a project engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and construction of manufacturing facilities and related structures. Your responsibilities will include determining facility specifications, material resources, structural design, and construction setups.
The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of the company by actively participating in expansion projects that deploy capacity for business unit growth. You will be part of a key role in expansion projects providing more capacity to production steps, and expected to make great contributions for the resolution of technical problems and suggestions for installation improvements to meet process requirements.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include preparing, revising, and approving technical documentation for design phases of projects, ensuring that standards, guidelines, best available, safe, and cost-effective solutions are considered. You will also ensure that project documents are complete and optimal for competitive and fair tender processes.

- Support procurement phase of specific components and works
- Control costs during execution of projects
- Supervise construction, installation, and commissioning of assigned projects
- Work with other engineering teams integrating work with other specialties into final project solution
- Execute all assigned tasks, planning, and delivering on time, safely, efficiently, reliably, and in a cost-effective manner
Key Requirements :
University degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation / Automation)Technical experience and / or background in executing engineering projectsExtensive experience in big industrial projects (+100 million euros)Relevant experience and understanding in executing industrial projects in operational environmentsKnowledge of design software (AutoCad)Knowledge of EHS standards, industry good practices, and legal requirements applicable to specialty of focusCompetent and fluent in Spanish and EnglishBenefits :
Participating in projects of average 50-100m€Working at sites reporting to RBM business unit and integrating teams up to 20 engineersMay supervise up to 5 technicians and less-experienced engineersMay work abroad for certain periods of time in other sites or vendor facilitiesLocation :
North of SpainMinimum until late-2026 remote work; afterwards consultants are expected to work onsiteBusiness Travel :
Travel will be required inside and outside Spain; reimbursed via expenses
