Job Details

Functions :

• Responsible for the smooth execution of each shipment from collection to delivery.
• Ensure shipments are sent via the most secure, rapid, and efficient methods.
• Coordinate detailed pre-planning to ensure shipments run smoothly.
• Have full knowledge of internal computer systems including TMS, DASH, Descartes, ColdStream Select, SharePoint, etc.
• Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments, reacting to any deviations from the plan.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries, and assign drivers in coordination with dispatchers.
• Follow up on clearance progress and POD details.
• Run reports and update activities in TMS.
• Communicate temperature results promptly after delivery, noting any deviations.
• Coordinate import / export clearance processes with the brokerage department.
• Prepare paperwork for export shipments.
• Contact airlines and handlers, make bookings, and issue AWBs.
• Work in accordance with regulations (ADR / DGR / IATA) and local laws and guidelines.
