    The Role

    As it continues to grow rapidly, MotorK is seeking an experienced, highly energetic and motivational Team Leader for one of our most impactful teams - Platform. Someone used to look for win-win opportunities with an outcome driven mindset, experienced enough to know that for any given technical solution the execution is a key factor for success.

    Requirements

  • Previous significant hands-on experience in a Software Engineering role
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Lean practices such as Kanban
  • Experienced in working in an environment that promotes a DevOps mindset, Continuous Integration and Delivery
  • Extensive expertise in Java (1.8 or later, Spring Boot)
  • Experience with any additional programming language / framework is a plus
  • Strong Software Engineering skills, strong SW Design capabilities, fluent on practices and principles
  • Experience with GenAI tools : Gemini, Copilot, etc.
  • Knowledge of unit and functional testing and experience with TDD (JUnit and Spock)
  • Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Responsibilities

  • Lead a scrum team of 3-5 engineers
  • Participate in day-to-day coding
  • Liaise with architects and other senior engineers to remove blockers limiting our capacity to get things done
  • Advocate best practices and value-driven mindset among engineers and product managers
  • Liaise with QA Engineers to test the user stories
  • Help improve our way of working based on continuous improvement
  • Communicate in terms that non-technical people understand; clear communication is crucial in our environment
