Genomics Data Analysis Specialist

The Variant Calling and Analysis team is seeking a skilled professional to develop and implement state-of-the-art pipelines for genomics data analysis using Nextflow. The successful candidate will join a stimulating scientific environment where they will contribute to breakthrough research projects in Genomics that have an impact on people's health.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for genomics data analysis using Nextflow.

2. Contribute to pipeline benchmarking and design automated validation tests.

3. Integrate pipelines as part of larger initiatives and participate in collaborative task forces and networks.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

A minimum experience of 1 year developing pipelines with Nextflow and NF-Core, MSc in Bioinformatics or related discipline, knowledge of version control software, software containers, Unix operating systems, shell scripts, and languages such as Python, R or Perl are required. Excellent organisational, prioritising, communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and good spoken and written English are essential.
