Role - Azure Virtual Solutions Consultant (Contract)

Work Mode - Remote

One of our clients, a leader in IT services, is looking for an Azure Virtual Solutions Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in VMware, Azure infrastructure, networking, automation, and data center virtualization, and will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and managing virtualized environments across hybrid and cloud-based infrastructures.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Manage and optimize VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX-T environments.
• Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation for multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Design and implement virtualization solutions for scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Architect and manage Azure infrastructure and services, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises environments.
• Utilize Azure Migrate and other migration tools to transition workloads from on-premises to Azure.
• Design and implement hybrid cloud networking solutions, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, and SD-WAN.
• Configure and maintain network security policies, firewalls, and micro-segmentation across VMware and Azure platforms.
• Develop PowerShell, Python, or other scripting solutions to automate cloud and virtualization processes.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or other automation frameworks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues using automation and proactive alerting tools.
• Manage and support data center virtualization technologies for optimal performance and scalability.
• Ensure best practices for high availability, backup, and disaster recovery in virtualized environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute VMware-to-Azure migration strategies.
