Process Expert Manager

Purpose :

The BTS Finance Performance Process Expert Manager acts as a service provider working under the team lead to implement approved application changes or support the delivery of assigned project activities. He / she is the point of contact with Power users of assigned specific project areas or changes, and coordinates with other IT teams on required activities to secure achieving needs. He / she also provides expertise in his / her application / process specialization to support the daily operations and effective performance of the business solution (application / support maintenance).

Main areas of responsibility :

Project Management

Drives the implementation of approved functional Change Requests / initiatives : new system functionality implementation or business process redesign. Provides estimates on costs, project resources planning, and timelines. Manages the functional activities such as blueprinting, design, fit / gap analysis, unit and integration testing, monitors progress of implementation. Ensures system integrity and performance. Assesses master data and reporting requirements for key users. Validates the solution (gets signoff). Ensures appropriate documentation is maintained.

Business Consultancy

Acts as a business consultant to provide expertise both on a business process side and system functionality. Works proactively with the business to enhance / optimize existing business practices and to bring market best practices in the designated area. Strives to investigate and bring forward new functionality to the business that delivers added value and better meets the business requirements.

Knowledge management

Provides knowledge transfer and best practices to power-users through training in coordination with the training team. Being the expert on the assigned areas, he / she coaches and helps the process / application analysts in the customization of the associated application modules. Supports Change knowledge transfer : from the project team to the power users, from external consultants to BTS (documentation, training, etc.). Responsible for working together with power users / business process owners on documenting processes from a business perspective, and with the project team and process analysts on documenting processes from a technical perspective.

Provides for the development of his / her direct reports both technically and professionally. Communication & Alignment : liaises with the team lead on current initiatives, provides all required information and documentation so that future support requirements are planned and efficiently organized.

Requirements :

IT University Degree. SAP Finance area, S4-FI and CO, BW, SAC, and other Finance applications. Proven experience in business Financial and Planning and Analysis area related IT solutions (PA IBM and SAP). Experience in AI, RPA or Data Science. In-depth expertise of supported applications functionalities, application landscape, and related business processes. Good knowledge of other pillar / workstream business processes and system functionalities. Project management skills and full awareness of quality assurance methodology (detailed knowledge of application testing, test procedures, and test scenarios). People management abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good business understanding. Capacity to listen to the business, understand their needs, and turn them into concrete solutions. Innovative and creative. Analytical skills.
