Principal Civil Engineer

As a Senior Civil Engineer you’ll join a dynamic and technically focused Civil Engineering team, taking a lead role in the engineering design and delivery of civil infrastructure for renewable energy and BESS projects.

This role will be based in our Madrid office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from home the rest of the week. Some travel to client / project sites throughout Spain and internationally will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of onshore civil works including the following experience :
• Application of recognised standards / codes of practice for the design of terrestrial and nearshore civil works.
• Development of engineering drawings including layouts and long sections and details.
• Design in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and regulations (e.g. CDM Regs).
• Working alongside senior Engineers to undertake feasibility studies, calculations, design, specifications and reports for various energy and power related projects.
• Co-ordinating with the CAD team to deliverable engineering drawings, reviewing and amending AUTOCAD drawings accurately and efficiently according to the design brief.
• Be a key interface and manage the relationship with clients and contractors.
• Add value, avoid / resolve issues, mitigate risks and manage project’s finances and contracts by applying robust project management practices and experience from previous projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
