As a Senior Global Procurement BPA Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating Business Planning & Analysis (BPA) activities within the scope of STO Direct Procurement and providing insightful, value-added analysis related to vendors and contracts. You will support decision-making for the STO Direct Procurement Leadership team and category heads globally. Your role includes developing and executing annual operating and long-term financial plans, interim forecasts, and 'what if' scenarios, focusing on business drivers, key financial and operational metrics, and sensitivity analysis with the STO Finance leadership team. Additionally, you will drive productivity and savings in STO Direct Spend areas.
Your key responsibilities :
- Owning TGT planning cycles and consolidating STO Procurement Direct Spend, including FDF and Direct Materials; ensuring timely and high-quality budget delivery.
- Leading the consolidation of global year-to-date performance with Finance Heads of the STO Platforms and Strategy, managing underlying dynamics and correlations with different cost elements.
- Proactively managing and explaining deviations of actuals versus TGT / LFs / LOs, monitoring R&O for STO Procurement Direct Spend, and ensuring the delivery of financial commitments.
- Supporting procurement savings calculations, ensuring compliance with savings guidelines, and designing reporting tools to enhance data management.
- Coordinating STO Procurement Direct Spend TPC / Standard costs processes for actual and planning cycles with Finance Heads of the STO Platforms and Strategy.
- Supporting projects and benchmarking initiatives to increase productivity, including make vs. buy evaluations for Sandoz Technical Operations.
- Acting as SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for financial topics / questions in your area and supporting governance meetings.
- Taking responsibility for personal and team development, including tasks from annual objectives, KPIs, or supervisor assignments.
What you will bring to the role :
University diploma in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.Proficiency in MS Office.Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance roles, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or development environment.Why Sandoz?
