What will you do as a Freight Bill & Audit Specialist?

The FBA&P Assistant is responsible for coordinating and preparing freight billing data, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and on time. This role involves direct contact with suppliers and requires delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers of the FBA&P department.

Purpose of your contribution

  • Ensure all costs are received and processed promptly on behalf of the customer.
  • Process invoices as received to enable billing and maintain contract cash neutrality.
  • Support the FBA&P Finance Manager in building analysis and reports, including customer recharge.
  • Proactively resolve queries with other departments, such as clearing invoice rejections and reconciling statements monthly.
  • Manage rejection logs and dashboards to monitor department status.
  • Reconcile carrier statements.
  • Provide analysis and data to the FBA&P Finance Manager.
  • Coach other departments on process resolution.
  • Skills required

    Mandatory :

  • Fluent English
  • Operational background preferred; strong operational skills. A finance background is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of rates, currencies, and modes of transport across multiple countries.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivots.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with multiple currencies.
  • Desirable :

  • Familiarity with supply chain and logistics functions.
  • Awareness of various VAT types.
