About The Position

As a Technical Account Manager, you will oversee thriving customer relationships as the customer’s guide to achieving exceptional security. You will serve as the customer’s trusted security advisor and function as an extension of their team, imparting technical and security guidance and best practices. You will learn to be the partner’s / customer’s chief navigator, charting a path towards security maturity, mapping its journey, and architecting a resilient posture. Further, as a customer advocate, your intimate knowledge and understanding of our customers will help shape the development of our cutting-edge technology and service. This role will be based in Spain.

A day in the life…

Technical Account Managers at WatchGuard have a slightly different day-to-day than a traditional TAM because of the nature of cybersecurity and the high-stakes environment that MDR services operate in. MDR providers focus on proactive threat hunting, monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents for their clients. As a TAM at WatchGuard, you will be responsible for meeting with partners / customers to review their security posture, often reviewing security alerts, incidents, emerging threats, and support tickets. You will also be an escalation point for customer communication issues that the SOC or Support teams may have. Additionally, you will document your findings to share with teammates and customers.

Skills And Qualifications

  • You are a customer-focused, data-driven, and process-oriented professional with Windows systems administration experience.
  • You have a successful track record within a technical customer-facing role.
  • You work well in a fast-paced environment and face obstacles with positivity and integrity.
  • You are committed to professional development and business growth in a rapidly expanding market.
  • You can deal with ambiguity, communicate well with partner teams, and have a compassionate understanding of the customer experience.
  • You speak Spanish and English. Knowledge of German is a plus.

Experience

  • 5+ years of technical account management experience or 2.5+ years in a cybersecurity technical customer-facing role.
