From Grupo Digital, we are looking for an IT Director for a stable project.
Location : Madrid.

Salary to be negotiated based on experience : 50,000-60,000 € annually.
Basic Function and Responsibilities
Develop technology plans for the future, manage the financial resources needed to implement these plans, ensure the operability and reliability of the technology network and computers, and ensure that employees receive the necessary training to utilize technological resources effectively.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic IT plan, review regularly, and revise accordingly.
- Manage the IT department project portfolio : prioritize, plan, organize, and allocate resources.
- Collaborate with leadership to support the attainment of key outcomes.
- Experience managing school SIS and LMS systems (Veracross and Canvas).
Support, Teamwork, and Supervision
Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, professional development, and evaluation.Develop performance goals for the IT team and individual staff members.Operational Management
Research and budget for technology needs.Manage help desk and work order systems to provide high-quality, timely technical support.Review IT system performance to determine productivity levels and operating costs.Authorize and oversee deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of hardware and software based on departmental needs.Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including security, disaster recovery, standards, acceptable use, purchasing, and service review, revising regularly.Create bid requirements for hardware and software upgrades, review bids, and recommend vendors to the CFO.Administer vendor and consultant contracts and service agreements.Build and maintain expertise in various technological resources.Provide backup support for other IT staff members when needed.Position Requirements
Formal Education / Certification : MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Doctorate preferred.Fluency in English and Spanish.Knowledge / Expertise : Minimum of 7 years in technology management, preferably in education, with progressive responsibilities.Experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development.Experience with systems design and operations from requirements analysis to day-to-day management.Knowledge of emerging educational technologies, standards, regulations, and industry trends.Proven supervisory skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.Experience in developing security policies, procedures, and awareness programs.Ability to support the integration of Brewsters administrative databases.Strong understanding of network and computer operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards; familiarity with Macintosh OS and Google G Suite preferred.Knowledge of business processes, management, budgeting, and purchasing operations.Understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to IT.J-18808-Ljbffr
