What’s Your Mission?

As our Senior General Accountant , you'll play a key role in ensuring robust and reliable financial operations across all IKONO entities, current and future. From Spain to the rest of Europe (and beyond), your deep expertise in the Spanish General Accounting System, and international accounting practices will be essential. You’ll keep our financial engine running smoothly while contributing to strategic decisions with a clear understanding of how your work supports IKONO’s business goals.

We're looking for someone who is more than meticulous with numbers, someone who connects the dots between finance and business growth.

What You’ll Do : Accounts Receivable

Oversee and manage sales records, invoicing, and follow-up on pending payments.

Ensure accurate documentation and monitoring of accounts receivable across multiple markets.

Accounts Payable

Process supplier invoices and employee expenses.

Maintain precise records and manage due-date schedules for efficient payment execution.

Journal Entries & Reconciliations

Accurately log journal entries, keeping ledgers up to date for all assigned entities.

Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts across different countries.

Audit Support

Prepare documentation and support audit processes for both local and international entities.

Administrative Support

Collaborate with Admin and Store Managers to ensure proper accounting control of inventories, personnel, and fixed assets.

Maintain a smart and secure document filing system, aligned with our growing group needs.

Work hand-in-hand with finance teams across countries, aligning accounting operations with local regulations and global standards.

What you bring :

Language Proficiency : You are highly proficient in Spanish and English (C1 or higher), you’ll be working across multiple markets. Additional languages are always a plus!

Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

Experience : 4+ years in accounting roles, with solid knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan and a track record working across different countries or entities.

Tech Skills : Advanced Excel is a must; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a big plus.

International Exposure : Experience in or strong adaptability to working with global teams and multi-country operations.
