We are looking for a recently graduated Mechanical Engineer, or one with limited experience but solid technical knowledge, to join our optomechanical device development team. The candidate will participate in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical and optomechanical systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (optics, electronics, software).
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields.
Essential Technical Skills :
Proficiency in mechanical design software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, etc.).
2D drawing development and application of tolerances (ISO / GD&T).
Requirements-based design (functional, manufacturability, cost).
Experience in FEA simulations (ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar).
Scientific programming (Python, MATLAB).
Design of optomechanical components (mounts, holders, aligners).
3D printing of prototypes (slicer use, post-processing).
Basic knowledge of physical optics or optical design (Zemax, Code V).
Experience with microcontrollers or embedded electronics.
Participation in research projects or technical publications.
