We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead web development projects for major international customers. If you have a strong passion for Java and Web Applications, this role will allow you to learn and develop new skills and contribute to the growth of Cognizant Netcentric.
Your role includes :
- Developing and maintaining enterprise class websites
- Leading and coaching teams of developers
- Estimating development tasks, pointing out risks, required provisions and limitations in the process
- Performing regular code reviews and sharing best practices
- Defining release strategies (including branching, Continuous Integration and development workflows)
What we require :
Experience in leading Java based web projectsBuild tools like MavenExperience with Spring BootExperience with Cloud SQL (Postgres), Terraform, Tekton (GCP pipeline), Pubsub (Events), Apigee (Gateway)Knowledge about cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, etc.), containerisation or microservicesExperience with NodeJs and GraphQLVersion control tools, especially GitDesign patterns and clean codeStrong capacity to identify requirements and define technical solutionsFunctional ProgrammingExperience with Continuous Integration ToolsExperience integrating third party systemsSolid interpersonal skillsStrong verbal and written English language skillsWhat makes us smile to see on your CV :
