We’re looking for a Service Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our Barcelona Flight Simulators Training center. This role is key to ensuring a professional, smooth experience for pilots in training, instructors, and clients from entry to exit.
You’ll manage support functions, including office staff, and oversee how engineers and training planning teams work within the center, with functional leadership from senior managers in other countries. You’re responsible for onsite communication, collaboration, and professionalism, though you do not define their work scope.

- Owning the full on-site experience for clients, pilots, and instructors.
- Managing day-to-day office administration.
- Coordinating with Engineering and Training Planning teams for professional communication.
- Supporting team leads in implementing local operational processes.
- Acting as the first point of contact for operational issues at the training center.
- Ensuring compliance with policies, health & safety standards, and local regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-country managers to align service standards and report on performance.
- Adhering to company processes.
- Monitoring and ensuring smooth operations using internal IT systems.
- Participating in daily meetings based on Lean principles.
- Setting and achieving short- and long-term goals aligned with company strategy.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by your manager.
We seek a team member with :
3+ years of experience in operations or service management, ideally in training, tech, or aviation.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Confidence in managing teams with dotted-line reporting.Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cultures and departments.Flexibility and comfort managing ambiguity.A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and independence.Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Willingness to share knowledge and skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 or basic computer literacy.Operational-level English proficiency; Spanish skills are highly desirable.Flexibility, good time management, and a positive attitude.A passion for learning and a love for aviation.What we offer :
