PLI works in tandem with Mercedes-AMG engineers to co-design the V6 hybrid Formula One engine and develops fuels, lubricants, and functional fluids that power the Silver Arrows.
This position is responsible for managing all maintenance programs, plans, policies, procedures, and practices in the plant to ensure production, security, safety, and compliance with all legal requirements.
This role oversees the overall maintenance of the company, ensuring preventive and predictive maintenance of all facilities (productive and non-productive), aiming to minimize unplanned downtime. The head of maintenance reports to the plant manager.
Functions :
- Define and plan maintenance policies to improve preventive models and establish operational maintenance methodologies.
- Ensure the correct operation of work equipment and facilities.
- Plan preventive and predictive maintenance for production lines to ensure their operation.
- Create and maintain updated manuals for preventive and predictive maintenance, including regular checks.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the maintenance team.
- Coordinate with the production manager and other departments to design and implement maintenance strategies tailored to each department.
- Work with the risk prevention team to coordinate machinery, equipment, and facilities maintenance to prevent accidents.
- Control and manage the department's budget.
- Propose, analyze, and track investments.
- Contribute to evolving plant organization and technological means to enhance overall plant performance.
- Improve process and product performance and quality in accordance with plant standards.
- Supervise overall system performance, implementing preventive and routine maintenance plans aligned with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Qualifications :
Technical Engineer in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.More than 5 years of experience.Knowledge of construction materials properties.Familiarity with inspection techniques.Knowledge of HSE management systems and tools.Proficiency in SAP.Teamwork and problem-solving skills.Key Accountabilities :
