JOB DESCRIPTION

Calucem is a specialty cement producer with nearly 100 years of experience in Calcium Aluminate Cement (CAC).

After nearly a century as leaders in calcium aluminate cement solutions, Calucem is renewing its visual identity to align with Molins, the company it belongs to.

The Sales Manager is responsible for sales performance in the Southern Europe region, managing daily sales activities to ensure development according to yearly budget targets. They oversee the implementation of Calucem's global CAC sales strategy (turnover, profitability, distribution network) to support the Medium Term Plan. The Sales Manager reports to the CCTO and is responsible for consolidating information to monitor sales performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage organizational sales plans covering sales, revenue, and expenses within the region.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans.
  • Meet and strive to exceed sales goals.
  • Track sales performance and report results.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, manage inbound leads, and conduct follow-up calls and meetings.
  • Establish sales territories and manage distribution channels.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales representatives.
  • Research customer needs and develop strategies to generate interest in sales.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, managers, and executives to evaluate strategies and results.
  • Develop strategies to attract new business.
  • Analyze sales data and recommend improvements for customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Follow up on potential sales leads.
  • Coordinate with European headquarters on lead generation and market insights.
  • Promote the organization and its products.
  • Understand target customers and their relation to our products.
  • Provide detailed quarterly sales forecasts (bottom-up).
  • Attend courses and training provided by the employer.
  • Comply with procedures, quality plans, environmental protections, and safety regulations.

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

    We are hiring a professional who meets the following :

  • College degree (chemical or engineering preferred).
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; working proficiency in English.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in Drymix or the chemical construction industry.
  • Ability to relocate or proven capacity for remote work.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including internationally if needed.
  • Skills : Autonomy, results-driven, industry curiosity, effective communication, teamwork, cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge and Skills : Problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills, sales management (KAM, margins, distribution), sales project management, construction sector networking, logistics (freight, inventory), discipline in reporting, results-driven attitude.
  • Seniority level : Associate
