Your tasks

  • We are growing the 24x7 SOC team, specifically hiring a new member for the weekend + 3 Days’ morning shift (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).
  • You will find yourself in a company with a large Cyber Security organization offering interesting growth, development, and promotion opportunities based on performance and training.
  • Continued learning is essential in Cyber Security, and the company supports this with various education and training options to enhance your soft and hard skills.
  • If interested in joining the weekend team, on-site at our offices in Plaça Catalunya, Barcelona.
  • You will coordinate and communicate IT security incidents across teams and countries, managing the security incident response process.
  • You will detect and analyze potential security incidents, and manage their containment.
  • You will reconstruct cyber-attacks and malware, analyze sensitive data, and derive remediation actions.
  • You will develop mechanisms to detect anomalies and attacks, initiating preventive measures to alert in time.
  • You will monitor the general threat landscape on the Internet and recommend actions accordingly.
  • You will advise internal projects on security-related issues.
  • You will conduct IT forensic investigations.
  • You will create detailed reports on IT security incidents.
  • Working days : Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Your profile

  • You have a university degree in information technology or a comparable education.
  • You possess strong English skills, fluent in business English (speaking and writing), at an advanced level (B2+).
  • You have additional education in IT forensics and security incident management.
  • You have expert knowledge of SIEM systems (preferably Splunk), SOAR tools, and EDR solutions.
  • You have good technical expertise in deployed technologies and cyber attack techniques.
  • You have basic knowledge of relevant IT standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, BSI Grundschutz, ITIL, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • You are characterized by high communication and analytical skills, work independently, and are a team player.
  • You are confident and persuasive, fluent in German and English.
  • Continuing education is important to you.
  • You are available to work the morning shift from 6h to 14h (no rotation).
