An international tech company specializing in advanced security solutions for Linux web servers is seeking a Security Developer to join its team!

The company's flagship product protects over 40 million websites worldwide and is trusted by industry giants like Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, Zoom, and others. Founded in 2009 in San Jose, California, the company now employs over 250 professionals across Europe and the USA.

You will work on an innovative AI-powered cybersecurity platform that includes intelligent firewalls, intrusion detection systems, malware protection, and kernel live patching technologies — all designed to secure Linux servers.

This is a fully remote position with flexible hours, allowing you to plan your workday from anywhere in the world.

Tasks

Backport upstream patches to fix vulnerabilities in earlier versions.
Design, build, and deploy new features for internal tools to automate workflows.
Research new exploitation techniques and malware approaches, developing mitigation strategies.
Increase the coverage of supported PHP and JS applications and plugins.

Requirements

3+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer in Test, Security Researcher, or similar roles.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python.

Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose.

Preferred Skills

Understanding of the security vulnerabilities lifecycle.
