Responsibilities :

  • Perform quality assurance and testing of web applications following Agile methodology guidelines.
  • Reduce manual test execution time by creating and maintaining test scripts to verify scalability, security, functionality, and usability for successful code deployments.
  • Automate API (web services and RESTful) and backend database testing using existing or new tools.
  • Build, catalog, maintain, and execute sets of automated scripts to assist in regression testing of software builds.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to facilitate rapid development according to plans and requirements.
  • Implement and maintain automation frameworks.
  • Coordinate with the QA team on testing activities for releases.
  • Provide usability and functionality feedback to developers.
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily standup meetings.
  • Coordinate tasks and work closely with Engineering, Product, and QA teams to deliver quality releases.
  • Ensure software enhancements and system fixes work flawlessly to meet business needs as per requirements.
  • Log and manage bugs effectively.

Required skills and experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 0-1 year of professional or academic experience in a computer science-related field.
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of software solutions.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems like JIRA, TFS, etc.
  • Proficiency in Java or C# programming languages.
  • Experience testing RESTful web services and APIs.
  • Experience with GUI-driven and programmatic testing.
  • Experience with Selenium and Playwright automation frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

    • Desired skills and experience :

  • Degree in a technical field such as computer science or related, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Understanding of business processes.
