PDG Media is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a sales role, preferably selling in the food & beverage sector OR for marketing agencies.

Experience in the coffee sector is highly advantageous. This role is offered on a permanent / full-time basis to candidates based in Spain .

As our new Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire pipeline for our strategic project sales .

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Identifying target customers
  • Establishing a sales pipeline for opportunities
  • Nurturing and engaging with prospects
  • Converting leads at the appropriate time

You will work across multiple verticals and manage sales for special projects such as the Producer & Roaster Forum and the Global Coffee Awards . You will collaborate closely with the CEO to align with the sales strategy, aiming to drive new business growth and meet revenue targets.

You should be comfortable communicating with clients at all levels, capable of identifying their needs, and relaying this information to the team. Responsibilities include :

  • Working independently according to an existing sales strategy to meet revenue goals
  • Identifying and pursuing new sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and sponsors
  • Reassessing our ideal customer profile periodically
  • Negotiating renewals with clients
  • Coordinating with the digital projects team for project launches
  • Upselling across our portfolio of publications
  • Collaborating with the publishing team to communicate deliverables and client needs
  • Participating in regular sales meetings
  • Providing updates on revenue goals to the CEO and COO
  • Essential qualifications include :

  • At least 2 years' experience in a client-facing sales or account management role in the food & beverage sector OR for a marketing agency
  • A proven track record of delivering high-value sales, often requiring long-term nurturing
  • Experience building or managing a CRM
  • Proficiency with email outreach tools (e.g., Apollo, Gong, Instantly)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies
  • Desirable qualifications include :

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Experience with specialty coffee
  • Experience with lead generation tools (e.g., Clay, Snov.Io, Zoominfo)
  • Knowledge of G Suite
  • Experience working with international teams
