Corporate Financial Advisor - Valuation Expert

Within our Corporate & Investment Banking practice, we are seeking a seasoned Banking Business Consultant to join our team in Madrid. This role involves providing expert advice on financial instruments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fixed income and derivative markets, as well as extensive knowledge of derivatives valuation (swaps, options, etc.). They will also be responsible for hedge accounting and the accounting treatment for financial assets and liabilities.

Key responsibilities include :

• Understanding and applying IFRS 9, 13, 16
• Hedge accounting for derivatives and accounting treatment for financial assets and liabilities
• Working on cash-flow and settlement prices validation, throughout each stage of product implementation
• Participation in risk management and validation projects
• Analysis and testing of IT products related to financial products booking and management

We are looking for an individual with a University degree / double degree in a relevant field such as Business Management, Finance, Law, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering. A Master's degree in Accounting, Business Consulting, Quantitative Finance would be an advantage. Additionally, professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, ACCA are highly desirable.
