Cloud Data Engineer (Based In Spain)

A British multinational company that offers recruitment and human resources services in 33 countries worldwide and is listed on the London Stock Exchange is currently looking for a Data Engineer to collaborate with some international clients. The position requires :

• 4+ years of industry experience in data engineering
• Experience with Azure, Python, and Java programming
• Design, programming, and unit-testing skills (Pytest, JUnit)
• Experience with version control (GIT), Kafka or PubSub, Docker, Terraform, Dataflow, Pyspark, and Databricks
• Working in an Azure environment
• Knowledge of Clean code principles
• Strong verbal and written skills in English

Nice to have skills include :

The main tasks involve maintaining and extending their customer data platform based on GCP or Azure services, developing scalable data pipelines, working with SQL technologies like BigQuery or Snowflake, designing data models, and building CI / CD pipelines. The role requires working in an agile team, often remotely, but based in Málaga, Spain.
