At StreamPayments, we’re seeking a Head of Technology to lead the development of new fintech products and emerging payment infrastructure.

This is a high-impact role for a technical leader with deep experience in global payments, who also thrives at the intersection of open banking, blockchain, and API-first product design.

You’ll support and scale our current payments stack while building the next generation of financial tools, from stablecoin on-ramps to modular, merchant-facing software. With StreamPayments, you’ll be part of a dynamic company revolutionizing the payments landscape by offering innovative, tailored solutions to businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the technical vision, architect and develop the frontend and backend of new payments-facing products (e.g., open banking, stablecoin, AI interfaces, compliance tooling).
• Make key decisions on tech stack, architecture, and infrastructure. You’ll have the autonomy to choose the best tools for the job.
• Guide product strategy and technical architecture for blockchain such as integrations and on / off ramps.
• Work with the tech team to maintain current payments infrastructure, including gateway connectivity and acquirer integrations.
• Select and manage technical contributors (freelancers or full-time) as the roadmap expands.
• Stay ahead of payment trends, regulatory changes, and technologies reshaping the fintech landscape.
