Business IT specialist as Application Manager

Location : Hanover

Employment Type : Full-time

Tasks

  • Support, administer, and further develop relevant applications, especially in planning and reporting (Oracle EPM and UNIT4 FP&A).
  • Create and manage artifacts such as forms, dashboards, navigation flows, and business rules.
  • Manage roles, authorizations, and the entire approval process.
  • Analyze technical requirements and implement them efficiently in the applications.
  • Perform system adaptations, upgrades, and performance optimizations to keep applications up to date.
  • Support the connection of upstream systems (e.g., SAP R / 3) and optimize ETL processes.
  • Train and support the specialist departments in using Oracle EPM modules.

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in supporting and developing applications, e.g., in planning, financial consolidation, or analysis.
  • Experience with FP&A systems such as UNIT4 and ERP systems like Oracle ERP, SAP R / 3, or S / 4HANA is advantageous. Basic knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Oracle SQL) and ETL processes is also beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, controlling requirements, and multidimensional databases.
  • Independent, reliable work ethic, motivated, team-oriented, with excellent communication skills and good instincts for critical situations.
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1 level).
