Organon is looking for a Junior Supply Chain Operations Specialist who will join the Central North Europe Cluster (CNE) and support distribution and logistics activities for the cluster markets.

You will report to the Supply Chain Operations Manager for Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.

This is a remote role, preferably located in one of our Central Northern Europe markets.

Primary activities include, but are not limited to :

  • Supporting daily operations for our Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PLs).
  • Monitoring interface transactions to ensure business continuity and performing root cause analysis of SAP issues, coordinating fixes.
  • Handling logistics tasks such as inbound / outbound shipments, inventory reconciliation, stock adjustments, and batch management.
  • Assisting with complaints and managing resolutions for temperature excursions, damaged goods, and late deliveries.
  • Reviewing and comparing monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supporting the team to meet or exceed these KPIs.
  • Supporting periodic transport lane risk assessments, including documentation and reporting.
  • Developing local procedures in line with regional and global standards.
  • Preparing monthly reports, including Intrastat and other reporting tasks.
  • Assisting with webshop administration for promomaterials, roll-ups, and booth materials.
  • Building strong partnerships with departments like Quality and Order to Cash.
  • Supporting substitution of Logistics Specialists in the CNE cluster.
  • Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Participating in projects as a logistics subject matter expert.
  • Participating in the yearly physical inventory count.
  • Supporting internal and external audits as needed.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain, with 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • High flexibility to support different areas.
  • Knowledge of supply chain environment.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and quick learner.
  • Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
