Being a manager at Amaris Consulting is best described as an intrapreneur’s role. Within our Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) division, you will have the opportunity to create, develop, and manage your own Business Unit, with full operational and strategic control. Unlike traditional consultant roles, the HEMA division operates primarily on fixed-price projects delivered internally, which makes this position highly focused on business development with less emphasis on individual consultant management.
Your missions
Business Development & Client Relations
- Identify prospects through market analysis and strategic outreach
- Engage with potential clients, organize meetings to present our expertise, and generate new business opportunities
- Manage and nurture existing accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and satisfaction
- Monitor customer activities to anticipate new opportunities and secure new projects
- Prepare structured technical and financial business proposals and lead negotiations
- Handle contractual and legal aspects when opening new accounts
Recruitment & Team Leadership
Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of consultants assigned to fixed-price projectsEnsure proper integration of consultants within internal delivery teams and manage their allocation across multiple projectsSupport key individuals in their career development and project engagementManage intercontract periods with proactive and appropriate solutionsImprove internal processes and propose new initiatives to enhance delivery quality and team efficiencyFinancial & Performance Management
Oversee the operational and financial success of your Business UnitConduct advanced Profit & Loss analysis and take action to optimize both Turnover and Contributive MarginMonitor project follow-up and delivery reportingContribute to business plan reviews and decision-making processesAddress recovery situations and ensure client payment cycles are respectedYour profile
Academic background : Master’s degree from an Engineering School or Business School, ideally with a focus on the pharmaceutical or health sectorExperience with sales development or client engagement in consulting or life sciences is a plusStrong interest in strategic and operational roles in a dynamic consulting environmentStructured and organized mindset, with a competitive and entrepreneurial spiritFluent English (French is a plus)You have the ability to work independently, drive business growth, and deliver impactful solutionsWhat we offer
