Offer Description
We seek a candidate with a degree in Biomedical Sciences for a paid traineeship in the Neuroscience Department, focusing on ALS research using human neuron models, Drosophila melanogaster, and human samples. The role involves cellular and molecular biology techniques and aims to prepare the candidate for a future doctoral thesis.
Responsibilities
Designing and executing experiments.Handling human neuron cells and Drosophila models.Applying techniques like PCR, Western Blot, immunofluorescence, and microscopy.Data analysis and scientific reporting.Collaborating on research for a future PhD thesis.Qualifications
Degree or Master's in Biomedical Sciences or similar.Excellent academic record.Basic knowledge of cellular and molecular biology techniques.Proficiency in English.Interest in neurodegenerative diseases, especially ALS.Preferred Skills
