Job Purpose

It is a fascinating time to join RECORDATI RARE DISEASES as a Key Account Manager in our Oncology Franchise. At Recordati Rare Diseases, we focus on the few—those affected by rare diseases. We believe that every single patient has the right to the best possible treatment. Patients with rare diseases are our top priority. They are at the core of our planning, thinking, and actions.

The Key Account Manager’s role is to promote the Recordati Rare Diseases Oncology Franchise portfolio, identify key accounts, and establish partnerships with key Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), hospital Pharmacists, payors, and any other key stakeholders at a local level (hospitals). The KAM is accountable for the business results of his / her territory, which will be Cataluña & Aragón.

Key Responsibilities

The Key Account Manager will build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and leverage customer insights to develop strategies and solutions, facilitating access to the hospital's Oncology Franchise portfolio.

Collaboration with local HCPs will ensure appropriate prescribing of Recordati Rare Diseases medications.

  • Territory planning and analysis.
  • Business planning.
  • Implementation of local account plans.
  • Administration, including tracking implementation of plans and achievement of objectives using company systems and own processes and using these methods to identify gaps in performance and plan remedial actions.

Required Education

Life science degree or higher qualification is needed, and / or relevant experience in rare disease, haem / oncology.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years pharmaceutical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Rare Disease / Haematology / Oncology / niche / speciality product experience preferred.
  • Experience / involvement in a successful recent product launch.
  • Knowledge of local market access / payor experience (hospital pharmacists and access process in the hospital setting) is essential.
  • Experience in digital multichannel impactful customer interaction. With evidence of previous experience both in systems and in personalised content to maximise the impact of multichannel / digital tools and strategy on customers in his / her territory
  • Excellent communication skills to drive impactful customer interactions via phone, video, email, text or face-to-face
  • Project management has successfully focused on customer interaction for promotional purposes.
  • Required Behaviours And Competencies

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication combined with good commercial acumen.
  • Excellent technical agility in remote / digital direct customer impactful interactions.
  • Strong presentation skills and business analysis skills.
  • Teamwork, proactive collaboration, and interaction with other teams. Continuous information interchange with the members of other departments.
  • Required Languages

    Written and spoken English language is needed.
