Network And Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network and Security Engineer with strong L2 and L3 support skills, specializing in Fortinet and Aruba technologies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure across multiple environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.Key Responsibilities : Design, implement, and support enterprise-level network and security solutions.Manage and maintain Fortinet (Firewalls, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer) and Aruba (Wireless LAN, switches, Clear Pass) devices.Perform L2 and L3 troubleshooting of network incidents and outages in a timely manner.Monitor network performance and conduct proactive performance tuning and capacity planning.Maintain and update network documentation, configurations, and diagrams.Ensure network and security policies and procedures are followed according to compliance standards.Assist in vulnerability management and firewall rule optimization.Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to support business operations and project implementations.Required Skills & Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).3–7 years of experience in network and security engineering roles.Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls (Forti Gate, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer).In-depth knowledge of Aruba network products (Aruba Central, Clear Pass, wireless controllers, switches).Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, etc.

Experience in configuring VPNs, NAT, IPS / IDS, and policy-based routing.Familiar with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Solar Winds, etc.

Relevant certifications are a plus : Fortinet NSE 4 / 5 / 6, Aruba Certified (ACSA, ACMP), CCNP, etc.Preferred Qualifications : Experience in managing multi-site or hybrid cloud network environments.Knowledge of SD-WAN, NAC, and Zero Trust security models.Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for network automation is an advantage.Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
