Senior Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Academic and Government Consulting team within the Research & Analytics business unit.

Role Focus : Working with colleagues to develop strong relationships with clients, helping universities, research institutes, and governments to strategize and implement their research and education plans. Collaborating with Product, Sales, Marketing, ISI, and other Consulting areas. The role aims to grow our market share in consulting services.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments :

• Minimum 5 years of consulting experience with government and academic clients.
• Experience with government or research funding agencies, evaluating or managing scientific portfolios.
• Understanding of how science is conducted, funded, and managed.
• Data analysis experience using SQL, R, or Python.
• Project and team management experience in a professional services setting.
• Preferred : MBA or PhD in a science discipline, previous academic experience, knowledge of bibliometric methods, and familiarity with Clarivate tools.

About the Team : Our diverse group operates globally, offering a range of consulting services across three practice areas : Research Analytics, Reputation, and Evaluation & Assessment, with various specialized skill sets.

Hours and Location : Full-time, permanent role based in Spain or UK, hybrid work model (2 days in-office in Barcelona or London, rest remote). Up to 30% travel may be required.
