Operations Director

Job Description :

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Director to lead our Ground Operations team in Spain and Portugal.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing day-to-day operations, driving business growth, and ensuring profitability. They will be responsible for overseeing risk and incident management, building and managing high-performing teams, and collaborating with regional and global teams to align with broader strategic goals.A strong understanding of Destination Management Company (DMC) operations is essential, as well as proven leadership skills and a background in managing teams and driving growth.The successful candidate will be a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and able to work legally in Spain. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of Ground Operations- Drive business growth and sales across key destinations, ensuring profitability- Manage relationships with partners, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional travel experiences- Oversee risk and incident management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies- Build and manage a high-performing team to achieve business objectives- Collaborate with regional and global teams to align with broader strategic goals Requirements :
• Extensive experience managing Ground Operations in Spain and Portugal- Strong understanding of DMC operations- Proven leadership with a background in managing teams and driving growth- High level of financial literacy and commercial decision-making experience- Native Spanish speaker, fluent in English;

additional languages (Portuguese, French) a plus- Experience in tourism, operations, or sales-focused industries- Ability to work legally in Spain Benefits :
