The role :
The Application Engineer M&C will be responsible for providing engineering and technical support to the sales and service teams, distributors, and customers. The role focuses on key market segments and supports the promotion and implementation of all products, solutions, and services within the Monitoring & Control (M&C) and digital portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for the design and engineering of pumping systems, including electrical panels, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
Develop standardized M&C solutions for pumping systems.
Assist in the creation of technical documents, brochures, price lists, and catalogues for standard and customized solutions.
Support product launches internally and externally for the Monitoring & Control product portfolio.
Handle customer inquiries related to product features, pricing, and availability professionally.
Deliver training and seminars to internal teams and external customers on M&C systems.
Analyze and understand customer requirements received via phone, email, or other channels.
Prepare cost estimates and proposals based on technical and commercial analysis of customer specifications.
Manage technical dossiers, including specifications and testing requirements, related to quality issues.
Address customer and service-related issues promptly and effectively.
Generate basic CRM quotations and manage CRM opportunities.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electronics engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automation industry, ideally in the water or wastewater sector.
Knowledge of low-voltage electrical panels, automation systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN).
Basic knowledge of PLC / SCADA programming tools (e.g., CODESYS).
Good understanding of market products, customer profiles, and sales environments.
General technical knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, water flow, and electric motors.
Ability to adapt to dynamic and changing work environments.
Strong customer service orientation with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
Experience creating technical proposals, contracts, and related documentation.

Travel : 40%
Languages Required : Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written)
Driver’s License : Required
