Responsibilities / Tasks

Are you passionate about payroll regulatory compliance and personnel management This is your opportunity to join our team in Alcobendas!

  • Manage the (outsourced) payroll process for Spain & Portugal covering multiple legal entities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and proper payroll record maintenance.
  • Keep GEAs global and local policies up to date and integrated into the payroll process.
  • Work closely with local HRBPs and our central HR resource center in Berlin on daily tasks and provide support for projects.
  • Ensure timely payment of salaries taxes and applicable social security contributions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries escalating questions and concerns when necessary.
  • Serve as a responsible backup in case of absences.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • University degree in HR Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing within a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations .
  • Spanish native & English fluent (C1 level).
  • Proficiency in payroll software Microsoft Office Workday and various HR systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills .
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
