Engineering Team Leader

Descripción : Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role is responsible for being the technical team lead, building, enhancing, and maintaining APIs and Web UI to support Sage’s business plans and long-term objectives using the identified architecture.

The Engineering Team Lead will provide strong technical leadership to a team of technical specialists and contribute to the technical analysis, design, and development of solutions.

The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team based in Barcelona, working globally with colleagues across multiple regions.

Responsibilities :

• Develop, deliver, maintain, and implement high-quality technical solutions.
• Take technical ownership of functions, features, or services as defined by the development team.
• Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Maintain relevant documentation describing logic, coding / configuration, testing, and changes.
• Support the production environment alongside your team.
• Continuously improve existing products, systems, and services.
• Seek and act upon feedback.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Ensure tasks are completed to quality standards.
• Stay updated with relevant technological advancements.
