Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer

Location : Parque Industrial de Elche (Poligono Industrial), España

Mission :

As part of a passionate team, you will be responsible for the structural analysis of the launch vehicle's propulsion elements.

Responsibilities :

  • Participate in subsystem analysis and architecture of turbopump-fed liquid rocket engines, including component sizing and load analysis.
  • Perform thermal and mechanical load analysis for engine components.
  • Analyze and interpret propulsion test and flight data.
  • Generate engineering documentation.
  • Maintain and improve analysis standards.
  • Collaborate with design engineers and other departments, providing information to manufacturing.
  • Research to optimize analysis solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Complete tasks on time, with quality and within budget.

Required Competencies :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Experience analyzing metallic structures for propellant lines.
  • Knowledge of analysis criteria selection based on loading conditions and environment.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Ansys and Teamcenter software.
  • Valued Competencies :

  • Experience in aerospace as a propulsion or stress analysis engineer.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing technologies and corrosion prevention.
  • Knowledge of cryogenic (LOX) cleaning and handling procedures.
  • Understanding of aerospace standard parts and materials.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, autonomous, and multitask effectively.
