Global Product Manager

Our client is seeking a forward-thinking, open-minded Global Product Director to join their global team in Madrid. This role offers the opportunity to work for a premier industrial tools, services, technology, and solutions provider serving customers in over 100 countries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to exceed the company's full portfolio of product goals. This includes new product revenue growth, overall product line revenue growth, profitability, cost, delivery, quality, innovation and more.

What you'll do :

As the Global Product Director, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's product lines. You will monitor key metrics such as sales growth, new product vitality, profitability, inventory management, on-time delivery and lead times. Your leadership skills will be put to use as you build, coach and lead a team of Product Managers. You will also be responsible for developing an effective global product line growth strategic plan. Your ability to identify, justify and select new product development projects will be crucial in achieving desired growth in targeted market segments.

• Monitor and drive product line metrics in-line with company goals and objectives
• Build, coach and lead a high-performing team of Product Managers
• Develop and implement a global product line growth strategic plan
• Identify, justify, and select new product development projects using voice-of-customer and market insights
• Work with Regional Business Leaders to develop and implement commercial strategy
• Develop and execute a pipeline of acquisition candidates to meet strategic plan acquisition objectives
• Work with Engineering Directors to develop and implement technology roadmap
• Develop marketing plans to drive profitable growth of new and existing products

What you bring :

You possess excellent communication skills that allow you to effectively interact at all levels of the organization. Your high level of strategic and tactical abilities in marketing will be instrumental in driving the success of our client's product lines. Your proficiency in using electronic spreadsheet, database, word processing software will aid you in managing various aspects of this role.
