A job that matters : Your Tasks

Develop and execute innovative integrated marketing communication strategies (including trade fair projects) targeting prioritized verticals, channels, and customer groups to drive customer engagement and demand for dormakaba's global products, solutions, and services. Ensure sustainable contribution to dormakaba's growth and profitability.

Key Tasks :

  • Implement overarching marketing tactics and plans for assigned products, systems, solutions, services, and target markets in close collaboration with relevant M&P teams, ensuring alignment with dormakaba's overall marketing strategy to maintain visual and contextual consistency.
  • Coordinate supporting marketing communications activities across regions to enhance customer engagement and generate demand while conveying a consistent dormakaba story.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across MSX, M&P, and regions to successfully execute activation strategies (online & offline) and achieve set objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and dynamics in key markets, supporting activation plans in synchronization with Regions, Strategic Marketing, and relevant M&P teams.
  • Analyze competitors' market development tactics regularly and develop counter strategies in coordination with Strategic Marketing, M&P, and Regions.
  • Leverage customer insights with Strategic Marketing to craft and position relevant value propositions for targeted industries and customer groups.
  • Maintain a continuous content storyline across digital platforms (social media, blogs, etc.) to establish a thought leadership position in major vertical segments.
  • Manage multi-channel communication campaigns focused on market impact, measured through tangible KPIs.
  • Foster strong relationships with senior management to influence local agendas and ensure consistent strategy execution.
  • Contribute to building a high-performing global Marketing Communications team by enhancing MarCom effectiveness through organizational, process, system, and capability improvements.

Specific Challenges :

  • Enhance brand awareness among end-users, especially in building projects, despite limited personal trust opportunities.
  • Optimize local deployment of marketing initiatives to improve ROI and effectiveness, shifting focus from content production to local campaign support.
  • Develop customer-centric solutions by exploring industry pain points and showcasing suitable access solutions.
  • Adapt to digital transformation by improving digital user experience and adopting agile workstyles within marketing.
  • Build technical understanding of products, solutions, norms, and regulations in the access industry.
  • Communicate persuasively in English, considering cultural differences and organizational relationships, with agility in moderating or leading as needed.

  • Minimum 5 years in marketing communications within B2B or B2C sectors, preferably in major industry segments.
  • Experience with decentralized matrix organizations and group functions.
  • Background in advertising agencies or consultancies is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to design and execute 360° digital communication campaigns with strong KPI delivery.
  • Skilled in managing complex projects in dynamic environments.
  • Effective collaborator across teams and organizational boundaries.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Quick learner with a growth mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Hands-on approach and responsibility-driven mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, IT, or engineering.
