As a Regulatory Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international food regulations, standards and customer-specific requirements. This role supports the company’s operations, quality, and R&D teams by interpreting regulatory guidelines, coordinating product approvals, and maintaining documentation for regulatory submissions. The position requires regular communication with external regulatory bodies, customers and internal stakeholders, as well as the ability to manage multiple regulatory projects and product portfolios. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including global quality, PD, production, purchasing, marketing, legal, customer service and sales.
Ensure company compliance with applicable food laws and regulations (EU, US FDA, Codex, etc.).
Serve as the contact point for ND (Oils, Flavors, Colors, Fibers) customer questionnaires.
Evaluate raw materials and supplier documentation for regulatory compliance.
Review and approve product labels, packaging and marketing materials for compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide training to internal stakeholders on regulatory topics and awareness.
Key Performance Indicators
Zero critical non-compliances in external audits.
in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs in the food or beverage industry.
Familiarity with global food regulations (e.g., High level of written and verbal English communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in documentation management systems and MS Office Suite.
